Mountain Pose is the “stem cell of yoga poses”, it’s an exploration of our inherent, pure potential.
When ’standing well’ our breath moves more freely, supporting our flow of energy, mental clarity and inner steadiness. When in our non-optimal postural habits, we block our flow, diffuse our clarity and skew our steadiness.
But did you know that how we stand also affects the pelvic floor?
In its balanced and neutral state, our pelvic floor is pliable and responsive and can literally move with breath. This enlivened pelvic floor is the ‘seat of health and wellness’. Yet non-optimal postural habits often yield a less responsive and less resilient pelvic floor, potentially contributing to anxiety, constipation, pelvic pain and more as well as blocking the free-flow of breath.
Come explore Mountain Pose as an access point to the power of our unfettered breath and as a gateway to a vibrant pelvic floor.

WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR? This workshop is for those who each of:
already have an asana practice (i.e. a yoga postures practice)
are able to stand
you will need 2 yoga blocks and access to a wall
WHEN: Wednesday November 18th, 7pm-8:30pm EST (end time approximate)

INVESTMENT: $30/suggested. Or set your own price btwn $18-$108 as needed. No-one turned away for lack of funds. All proceeds benefit the Living Now Yoga Diversity Scholarship.
