Chaturanga Kowabunga!
-a workshop for yoga practitioners ready to explore this pose -
Chaturanga dandasana (translation ‘4-limbed staff pose’) is a physically demanding and precise posture that gets ‘sandwiched’ in between plank & up dog in many forms of Sun Salutations. We come back to it again and again. And yet rarely if ever actually work on the pose.
It’s a hard pose to hold! And in truth, we need to be able to hold a pose to work on a pose. While at the same time, non-optimal alignment in this posture can lead to shoulder injury.
And, guess what? This pose is NOT for everyone! Is it for you?
This posture has many lessons to offer!
Please join me.
