my beautiful teacher

Much loved by her students around the world, Judith Hanson Lasater, Ph.D., PT, has been practicing yoga since 1970, teaching yoga since 1971 and helping to train teachers since 1974. The author of nine books on yoga, she was a co-founder of Yoga Journal Magazine, received a Senior Teaching Certificate personally from BKS Iyengar, co-founded the California Yoga Teachers Association and was an early board member of Yoga Alliance. Perhaps best known for her teachings on Restorative Yoga, her many, long-time students are inspired by her insights, realness, compassion and humor. Judith has also been my primary teacher since 2006, so this opportunity to share her words with you, totally rocks my soul!
